After an interesting 2020, we are happy to announce we are back in action in 2021. Flag football registrations are now open for the 2021 season. Everything you need to know for this season is below.
Things you need to know for the 2021 season.
- The registration fee for the 2021 season is $30 per player. Included in the registration fee is a soft shell helmet and team jersey. Your child gets to keep both the helmet and jersey.
- Athletes from any location or school district are accepted.
- Age groups are divided into four (4) age divisions: Mini (Ages 5-7), JV (Ages 8-10), Varsity (Ages 11-13), Showtime (Ages 14-18).
- Mini and JV Divisions play 5 v 5 flag football. Playing field is a smaller 60 yard condensed field.
- Varsity and Showtime Divisions play 7 v 7 football. Playing field is a smaller 60 yard condensed field. We are currently the only 7 v 7 spring football league in the Hazleton area and Wyoming Valley.
- SHOWTIME DIVISION: Enter your own squad of up to 10 players per team. $30 per player.
- You'll receive a $5 discount off your tackle football or cheerleading registration when you register your child for both flag and tackle/cheerleading. Ages 5-13 for football. Ages 5-14 for cheerleading.
- Practices: each team will practice once per week. Attendance at practices are NOT REQUIRED, due to the high number of players participating in other spring sports and players traveling from outside of the immediate area. Missing practices will not affect your child's play time in games.
- All games are played on Sunday's - beginning April 11th running through June 6th. Every team is guaranteed 6 games. Full league schedule - to be announced as teams are formed.
